Police arrest 2 believed responsible for fatal shooting

When looking up the different crimes people are arrested for in the Charlotte area, one seems to pop up most frequently — shootings. Just recently, two young men were arrested for a fatal shooting that occurred at a local Food Lion. If convicted, the consequences associated with that conviction will likely be severe.  

What allegedly happened? 

There are a lot of unknowns in this case. Police say that on the evening of April 21, a 28-year-old male was found with a gunshot wound in the parking lot of the Food Lion. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment, but sadly, he did not to survive. Two individuals, ages 23 and 22, were also injured and taken to a medical facility for treatment. They were then interviewed by investigators and taken into custody. 

Charges in this case 

According to reports, both men have been charged with murder. It is unclear if any further charges are pending. The investigation is still ongoing. Authorities are asking anyone who may know anything about this incident to please, come forward.

Murder charges are not easy to fight. There is no saying how this case will go. However, that doesn’t mean these young men should give up and let the state decide their fate.
