Police in North Carolina recently arrested two individuals they believe to have been involved in the shooting death of a 22-year-old male. Both of the accused have been charged with murder, and both are currently being detained by law enforcement — one in jail and the other in a juvenile detention center. It is unclear if either of these individuals has retained legal counsel to assist them with their respective cases. They certainly have the right to do so.
According to reports, on Wednesday, July 29, police responded to a call for help that came from the Nevin Chase apartments in North Charlotte. When they arrived, they found a man on the ground in the apartment’s common area. Authorities say he had what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. Sadly, he died at the scene.
Just two days later on July 31, authorities arrested a 20-year-old male and a 17-year-old for their alleged roles in this event. It is unclear what led officers to these individuals.
